Open 10K registrations are closed.

Entry to the Open 10K race category will be confirmed based on the ‘confirmation criteria’ explained in detail below:

 I] Open 10K- Online Ballot.

To ensure that all runners have an equal opportunity to participate in the Open 10K race category, we are implementing an online ballot system. There are a limited number of running spots available through the Open 10K Online ballot system. The Online ballot system will randomly select applicants, giving everyone an equal chance to secure a spot in the race.

1. Ballot Registration: Interested participants must register for the ballot here. The registration window will be open from 16th Aug, 7 AM IST to 22nd Aug, 11:59 PM IST. Each applicant must provide accurate personal details and accept the terms and conditions of the race. Each applicant can only apply once. Multiple applications will entail all applications being disqualified. Furthermore, an applicant must apply for the event using a single email address.
2. Random Selection: After the registration period closes, a computerised random draw will be conducted. This ensures a fair and transparent selection process.
3. Notification: Successful entrants will be notified via email on or before 30th August on their registered email id. The email will contain further instructions on how to complete payment within 48 hours and secure the running spot. Unsuccessful applicants will also be informed and will be placed on a reserve list. Please note that the payment link will be deactivated after 48 hours of receiving the payment email and any unused running spots will be released to the Reserve list. Open 10K ballot applicants who are not selected in the random draw will receive the relevant communication on or before 3rd September 2024.
4. Reserve List: Applicants on the reserve list will be contacted in the order they were drawn if any slots become available. This ensures that all available running spots are filled and provides an additional opportunity for those who were not initially selected.
5.  Participation Confirmation: Selected participants will receive application confirmation with the bib number latest by 10th September 2024. Note:  Once an entry is confirmed, no requests for cancellation and further refund of application fees will be entertained under any circumstances.

II] Charity Running Places

A limited number of  running places have been allocated to credible NGOs registered with the Event’s Philanthropy Partner, United Way Mumbai. These are meant to help these charities raise funds through people willing to support their causes. Interested applicants are encouraged to visit United Way Mumbai’s website at https://www.unitedwaymumbai.org/tmm  and go through the registered NGOs and contact them directly for a running slot. The number of running slots as well as the contact details of the NGO have been provided on each NGOs page. NGOs have the discretion to choose whatever donation amount they wish to set for their limited slots. Charity running places will be available with the participating NGOs for a donation from 14th August to 13th December 2024, or until charity running places last, whichever is earlier. Note: A prior timing certificate is not mandatory to apply in this race category under any of the above-mentioned criteria, however, if you wish to submit the prior timing certificate for a better Start Wave, follow the below timing criteria:

1. Timings of only marathon (42.195 km), 25 km distance, half marathon (21.097 km) , 10 Km and the 5 Km distances conducted at an on-ground event will be considered. Timing certificate of a recognized timed relay race, where an individual covers a distance of minimum 5 km, will be considered to qualify for Open 10K race category of the running event must have been conducted within the period of 18 months preceding race day (19th Jan 2025), i.e., on or after 19th July 2023.
