PRIDE (Procam Rewards for Indian Distance Elites)

Introduction:

PRIDE (Procam Rewards for Indian Distance Elites) is a merit-based rewards framework designed to recognize, incentivize, and empower Indian elite athletes competing at Procam International's events.

The program offers a transparent, performance-driven system that provides top Indian distance runners with structured financial benefits, travel support, and premium hospitality — celebrating excellence and encouraging the growth of elite distance running in India.

 Program Scope & Disciplines:

PRIDE applies to all verified Indian elite distance athletes registering for Procam International events, including:

  • Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon
  • Tata Mumbai Marathon
  • TCS World 10K Bengaluru
  • Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata

 Rewards & Performance Criteria:

Rewards and entitlements are computed using verified athletic results achieved over defined evaluation windows. The total number of athletes in each of Tier 1 and Tier 2 is restricted to a maximum of five athletes per gender.

1. Half Marathon Group (10K, Half Marathon & 25K):

Points are calculated strictly based on performances recorded within the twelve (12) months prior to the event's registration closing date. Eligible events are restricted to sanctioned Procam, Indian Athletics (IA), and World Athletics (WA) competitions, as well as official National Championships.

Calculation is based on results achieved within the 18 months prior to the registration deadline.

Performance Score: For marathons, an Indian elite athlete's official Ranking Score is determined by taking the average of their top 2 Performance Scores within an 18-month rolling window.

Top two performances must comprise: 1 Marathon + 1 (Marathon / 30K / 25K / Half Marathon)
Performance Score Calculation:

Performance Score = Result Score + Placing Score
